Quirk: Kyūbi
In a nutshell, the user can take on properties and mystical abilities associated with the mythical creature known as the Kyūbi, or nine-tailed fox. This makes the user a functional immortal, allowing them the ability to remain alive even after the average person would have passed on. When angered, the user of this quirk will become enveloped in a fiery yellow aura which can protect them from extremely powerful attacks, as well as making them faster, stronger, more durable, and more agile. This is due to him allowing the ‘beast within’ to grant him strength. When the quirk is not fully activated, the user’s eyes will glow blue, and his veins glow a bright blue as well. As a less useful ability, the user can also transform into a fairly small nine-tailed fox.
The limitations of this quirk are widely unknown, save from a few that happen on occasion. The first being that the user has to be perfectly in sync with the Kyūbi, making it difficult to reach full strength without first bonding with the beast. The second limitation is their ‘immortality’. The healing they receive isn’t instantaneous, meaning they can still take wounds and be lethally injured, incapacitated, et cetera. It works more as a healing factor for the user that happens at a slower pace than the typical immortality (think something slower than Ban in Nanatsu no Taizai).
